Travel Fees


"Local" Wedding| Sessions:


20 Miles of travel round trip is included in all packages at no additional cost to my clients. I consider Events\Weddings within 1-2 hours "local" to my house. For Events\Weddings that are within 2 hours round trip of my home, clients only pay for mileage outside of the 20 miles included in their package. Any mileage outside of the 20 miles round trip I charge $0.80/ mile. Therefore, if an Event\Session is 85 miles from my home, the client pays for 65 miles (85-20) at $0.80/mile ($52 travel fee).



Driving Distance (Farther than two hours):


If a wedding| session is over 2 hours (120 Miles) away from my home, I require a one-night hotel stay fee the night of the wedding| session. If it is more than three hours away (180 miles), I require a two-night hotel stay fee the night before the wedding|session and the night of. In addition, the mileages travel fee is still charged at $0.80/mile on top of the hotel fees.


Requires Flying:


If a wedding|session is out-of-state and requires flying, my clients are responsible for mileage to the airport (If over 50 miles round trip), airfare for myself and my second photographer, two-night hotel fee, a rental car and a $250 travel stipend (food, baggage fees, etc.) WHEW! Personally, I PREFER to drive if I can. This will help keep costs lower for my clients because you are then just paying for the mileage. I still require a two-night hotel fee the night before and the night of the wedding|session.
